Our Focus
New and reconfigured waterfloods and infill drilling projects. Unconventional or Conventional horizontal drilling and EOR projects.
Operated and/or OBO interests with top operators in lower 48 top play areas. Help to accelerate the best projects.
The end game for each of our projects will likely involve CO2 sequestration. Deploy low carbon footprint technologies early where practical in each investment or project.
Cobblestone management has the skills and network to create great projects for the right groups of investors and partners. Our IOR backgrounds allows us to look ahead to capture full property potential.
What we are looking for
Ideal Deal Size
Assets/projects with 5 to 500 million dollars of cash outlay for base production and upside development, ideally split 50/50.
Lower 48 US Focus
Unconventional and conventional IOR projects involving horizontal wells and waterfloods. Material base production.

How We Work
We look at multiple projects on an ongoing basis to select the right ones to approach current owners as well as our funders.
We are not interested in being promoted or paying finders fees for projects we can identify and do ourselves. We are looking for operators that would like new technology applied to their assets to enhance the value of their properties. We are also looking for Joint Venture partners and sponsors wanting to create value with us.
We use a high level of sweat equity in our deals where we get paid out of successful outcomes. This concept aligns us with existing operators, our sponsors, and joint venture participants.

Our associate team of geologists, engineers, and technicians has extensive experience in all aspects of oil and gas exploration, including seismic surveying, drilling, and production. We use the latest technology and techniques to ensure the success of our projects to maximize recovery.
